Technical Meeting Update # 10

1. Dell Wireless 1500 N Update
=> Supports only the 3 routers in the training website. Make sure that the firmware of the router is updated.

2. Intel 3945 Update
=> The latest driver will fix the issue where the WZC works fine but the card utility won't work.

3. Updates on wireless card drivers
=> There will be software updates for 1500, 1390 and 1490 available next month.
The Resource CD for Intel will be updated in October.
The Resource CD for Broadcom will be updated in November.

4. Wireless card stopped working after the other components of the system are replaced (mobo, hard drive)
=> Reseat and reinstall the wireless card.

5. Lost wireless connection after downloading the file R127811 for Intel 3945. There is a pop-up window prompting customers to download the updated driver.
=> The pop-up window is only available with Inspiron and XPS systems. The problem is that the pop-up will prompt the customer to download an old driver. Dell will fix the source of the pop-up so the customers can download the latest diver. This should be fixed within the week.
